一切都是與衆不同的全新體驗，看上去好像都是似曾相識，但卻又完全是另一種感受，整部電影到處都是聰明的笑點和彩蛋，在故事結構上也超越了傳統的敘事模式。主創絕對熟知所有好萊塢的敘事套路牌，然後在所有的套路基礎上都有一個聰明的小逆轉，太多的小聰明其實也是大智慧。

樂高玩電影的劇情簡介
　　艾米特（克裏斯·帕拉特 Chris Pratt 配音）是樂高世界中一個普通到沒有任何存在感的建築師，他每天精神飽滿，樂觀向上，按照說明書的指示從事一天的活動。某天收工後，他意外掉入一個深洞，後背還黏了奇怪的東西，隨後就被兼具凶暴和善良兩面的警察（利亞姆·尼森 Liam Neeson 配音）帶走問話。原來統治樂高世界的總裁（威爾·法瑞爾 Will Ferrell 配音）對那些極富創造力的小人極爲不滿，他討厭不同系列的樂高世界相互交叉，更討厭脫離了說明書獨辟蹊徑的發明創造。因此他將所有世界隔開，囚禁了那些創意大師，還策劃著一場可怕的陰謀。艾米特危機時刻被露西（伊麗莎白·班克斯 Elizabeth Banks 配音），並被先知維特魯維斯（摩根·弗裏曼 Morgan Freeman 配音）認定爲救世主。
　　暴風雨般的迫害襲向創意大師們，想象力貧乏的艾米特能否擔此重任？
